I confess to looking forward to being back in the office. I do like putting on a suit and tie and doing the commute and seeing my team in person and working together in a conference room. That said, I have for the past few years been a two or three days in the office a week maximum kind of guy anyway, so I suspect I will only go back to that norm. One benefit of being old–today is my 29th anniversary with my firm–is that I kinda get to do what I want within limits, and they tolerate me.

I think a grateful attitude goes a long way, brother. I am grateful for my job (which I like). I like the people I work with and it keeps my family eating and we all have a car! So on sucky days, I like to remind myself that I ate today and that is better than half the world is doing!!!
