If Deca can be detected for up to 18th months in a UA……does it stand to reason that after an athlete uses Deca for a training cycle the compound would be less effective for the 18th months after use?

Does the very long detection time of Deca affect its efficacy in the body during the time it is being eliminated?

Just read a bit on it. I believe the half life is ~7 days so after a couple weeks the actual effect of it would be nada.

Also read on detection… I did see the 18 month time. Most of it was in medical language I didn’t understand.

I saw similar information which sparked the question. Not sure how it could be tested with any validity? Just curiosity.

Athletes build a “tolerance” to Testosterone over time. I would think all compounds have the ability to saturate receptors and make them less viable with prolonged use.

Interested if abstinence from something like Nandrolone for the entire period of elimination would “reset” receptors and provide a response in the body similar to a first time use? Or does each “cycle” reduce the efficacy of a particular compound?

Anyhow- thanks for the thoughts!

You’re basically asking the age old question are AR receptors unpregulated or down regulated. And the most current data shows an Upregulation. Meaning the cells will increase in its response to a signal or substance to carry out a function… the cell will have more receptors to make it more sensitive to a drug.
