I can see myself being happy opening a small polish deli as a retirement plan. Sit around this buff old polish guy going to the gym in the morning and getting to the deli five minutes late everyday then sitting around talking to all the other slovick guys around here lol. Having a big screen with all the international soccer games on. Closed during hunting season lol. It’s a dream

That’s my neighborhood i was raised in. Detroit metro area. Bunch of folks from south (my crowd) and a real bunch from the old country. Great eats! No delis like that in my area now that I know of.

Haha me too. Dearborn meats. Had some of the best hams. There was this old polish meat market on Warren and they had the best kielbasa. What’s your heritage? My grand parents lived on Artesian. Huge old polish neighborhood.

Im the first generation born outside of Kentucky on mamas side. Dads folks are 100% english. Theres a city in Great Britain that has my last name. Like you raised right there where there was great chow. I know right where warren ave is.
