Hi bros… new here. 31 yrs old, did a couple of cycles when I was 20-21. Made it out and maintained reasonable hormone levels for the last 10 years but alas after a couple years of consideration I began trt a few months ago. Wish I had bit the bullet sooner!

I’m currently 6’1” 165 and naturally stay under 7-8% body fat. I’ve lifted my whole life but not as much the last 5-6 years because I just didn’t have the energy and felt like I couldn’t progress at all.

Ive delt with pretty nasty joint pain the last few years and got a CT fusion scan (which is fucking badass tech) that revealed some decent arthritis in my spine, shoulders, hips, SI joints and knees. Nothing terrible but it’s definitely there. Under my neurologist’s recommendation I’ll probably have a bone spur in my neck shaved out this year but other than that it is all very manageable as long as I do my part.

I wasn’t able to progress in my physical therapy whatsoever until I began TRT and now that I’m starting to feel relieve it’s lit the fire again. My doc has me on 200mg/week which has my levels around 800. Next labs coming next week.

I’m planning on doing a reasonable cycle pretty soon, I think the extra mass will go a very long way in relieving my joints. I have two toddlers who I’d like to still be bigger and stronger than when they’re in their 20’s lol.

Anyway it’s good to be here and on the road to feeling better.

Goals:
Reach a weight close to 195 pounds with a little less body fat than I have now.
Don’t fuckin hurt myself!

Welcome sir.

Little trivia:

“Please allow me to introduce myself” is the first line in what famous rock n roll song by who?

Glad to have you. 7% bf is real real low…195 at that bf% or lower will be bb show ready.

Not raining on your goals. Just be careful not to be unreasonable with yourself.

Welcome.

30# is a lot for your joints/ligaments to grow into.
For me, the extra 20# i have gained in the past 2.5yrs has changed my movement patterns significantly, and increased the a.m. aches and pains.

On the positive, I don’t need to wear a weighted vest for the Murph…its already built in haha

Gonna have to look into the CT Fusion scan!

Welcome to ugm ! Damn bro you were young when you started. Glad your feeling better now on trt . My levels sit around 750 with 150mg week . I like to run 160-170mg week keep me around 900.

Pesky injuries was the main reason I started TRT (about 16 months ago). Most of my injuries are in check and I’ve never been stronger!

Good on you brother. As you get older, you got to train smarter but with a little help you can still train like a beast

Welcome.
