Road To A “Pro Card” And The IFBB

I have met one pro i trained with him for a bit. He was nice to ne around during the off season and training with him was fun. Whenever he was in competition prep he was an asshole. He would be perfevt about every minute of his day. He would constantly rap and sing i couldnt stand being with him during comp prep. Dude is massive though. His skin looks really bad, not acne just has like dark patches, i think its from too much igf-1. As igf-1 increases skin cancer the fastest out of all cancers.

I just re-read what I wrote. My intentions were purely info from stuff I gathered. I wasn’t trying to belittle or be condescending on anyone trying to break into pro bodybuilding. I have the utmost respect for anyone with a goal and staying focused until they reach it or get as close to it as they can.

She was one of the forerunners of women’s bodybuilding. Her and rachel mclish (spelling)

You were just telling the truth though. I takes so many things to reach pro status. Genetics and how well you tolerate massive amounts of gear are probably close to the top

Lee priest claims he kept it to one cycle per year for most of his career … 500 test / 500 deca per week with dbol kick start for 20 weeks … but ate massive amounts of food, specifically KFC!

Sure he tells some tall tales … odd dude … on a side note when I was a freshman in college had a 18 yr old team mate who could get 405 for 3 … short Italian kid from the Bronx … military 315 for 3 (front ) … short limbs are certainly helpful!

Yep I was hitting 405 for 3 at 17 and my arms aren’t that short uo until this go round of lift my highest I got on bench was 435. It’s funny when o got on my college lifting proof ram it actually dropped drastically cause there training was so bad the “strength” coach who was just the oline coach had doing sets of 200 for blocks of 4 weeks straight on benching cause he wanted stamina. Mother fucker we got like 40 seconds between plays we don’t need to do 20 reps of bench press

I was fortunate to have a good strength coach when I was playing … was ahead of his time for late 90s… dude has a doctorate in exercise physiology from the university of prauge… we did all kinds of unique European movements with kettle bells coupled with traditional stuff. I think i share this before… saw kids put on 25 solid pounds naturally in a year with proper eating of course

285 but I carry it well not sure what I could bench but I hit 425 or 435 o would have to check on incline recently
