It is worth it to be able to just function better lol. I think I will gain much more this way just because I shouldn’t have anymore setbacks. We will see where I am at in a few more months.
Increased working weight on peck deck and incline bench by 5 lbs. felt like I could have done more but don’t want to push it. I’ll increase another 5 pounds next week.
So I went to my normal Doc yesterday cause I really wanna de where my bloods are at. They took my blood pressure yesterday and it was 160 over 100. When I went in this morning fasted to get my blood work done it was 118 over 80. So then they checked my other arm. It was 118/80. Then they squeezed on the small cuff and did that three times and all three times it was 120/80. WTF. I even had coffee this morning. I was in a bit of pain yesterday from lower back from scraping ice off driveway with roof rakes lol. I know pain increases BP but by 42 points??? The other variable is I made two large glasses of ginger tea with turmeric and olive oil yesterday as I remember that lowers BP. Could the tea have made that big of difference overnight??? @Bigmurph@NeuroRN
So many variables I don’t know that much about the tea and honestly high bp is probably caused by the gear your running. I don’t believe that its pain could be but I would say gear is causing it and your anxiety of them taking your bp could have caused a spike??
That could be. I did use gear last night the same as always so I don’t know why there was such a substantial difference in a 18 hour period of the tests. I am very happy with the fact that they tried five different times this morning and it was 118/80 on gear. I am going to go to Walmart and use the free BP machine this afternoon to see if it’s that high again in the afternoon again.
Lots of variables here. Too many to speculate. More than likely tea and olive oil did nothing, and the fact that you went first thing in the morning has more to do with it.
You need an at home BP cuff. You’ve have BP issues on cycle before. This needs to be part of your daily routine. Tracking your BP like your macros. 160/100 is not okay.
I would say start by keeping a log of your BP. So you can get a grasp on when and what makes it spike.
Good ideas. Can being sick affect BP? My body temp yesterday when I woke up was 95.7 (which I’ve never seen before) I was literally shivering. My lymph node under my chin area was swollen I was able to get my temp up to normal by afternoon and by evening it was 100.2. This morning my temp was fine this morning.
Ya I got
Something going on. Can’t wait to see my bloods. My shit got so outta whack last late summer early fall from Tren and a poor diet that this time I have been very responsible with my diet and everything. I was shocked when they told me my bp was that high. I am definitely going to monitor it more closely.
