Rusty gonna have best cycle ever

Today’s workout legs!!! Went light on weight for good mornings and Romanians cause back and hip feel tight. They had a belt squat machine @NeuroRN @Poppy I used it and loved it. Completely took my back and Helios out of the equation!!! Here are pics of it. Also had bars to hold on to to help keep my posture correct.

Back squat was actually a belt squat but didn’t have option in program to call it belt squat. First time using it so weight varied a lot between sets

Today I decided to switch up my workout based on some information I read that was recommended by @Poppy

I am going to do two to three muscle groups per day

Today quads and calves

All reps require a semi explosive lift and a three second return for time under tension. They are giant sets and only allowed ten seconds between exercises per each set then a two minute rest period between sets. Should be enough weight that the last couple of exercises in the fourth set fail before eight reps. If I can reach all eight reps then add more weight next time.

Quads Set one 8 box step ups, 8 front squats, 8back lunges, 8 leg extensions, 8 goblet squats
Rest two minutes and repeat for a total of four sets

Calves set one 8 seated calf raises, 8 tibialis raises, 8 calf pushes on leg press, 8tibialis raises.
Rest two minutes then repeat for four sets total.

My quads have not been pushed like this in a long time. I feel DOMS setting in. LOVE IT!!!

So I pinned my quad from the side instead of the top and now my whole thigh is red three days later. I can hardly squat to pick things up. I went to the doctor and told them. They know I use test. The doc had the head doc come in and look at it. They are not sure if my muscle is having a reaction to the injection or if it’s infected. It is warm to touch and hard. They gave me cephalexin 500 mg four times a day and probiotics. As well as lots of ice. And having me check my pulse in my foot every so often.

I have had reactions like this to test P before but not to this magnitude. And this testP is actually one of the best as far as pip goes. @NeuroRN Notice the Green Bay packer flip flops. Lol

Keep on eye on size of the red circle. If it’s still growing after a day ya got a problem. I’d draw around it in sharpie.

I get the same thing every once in a while… I do exactly what @NeuroRN says. 99% of the time, it’s not a problem.

I’ve had an infection from a quad pin… it settled in my knee. Doc fixed me right up.
