I think I am starting to understand my bodies needed balance for good macros
 
I am pumped when I compared both pics. This is the fastest I have seen change. This is also the quickest I’ve been able to get my diet dialed in.

I think I just saw this model on a fav Instagram of mine. But it makes sense to me. I think it’s the same diagram. I don’t train to be super sore. I don’t see the point. I train for strength in full ROM with mind muscle connection for the whole movement. If the weight is so heavy I don’t keep the mind muscle connect… I go down in weight.
 
I get sore but not debilitating. Then again I remember Dorian Yates said he only trained legs once a week cause that’s how long it took them to recover from being so sore

Injured again. Fuck this. And back down i went. I feel better longer lifting lighter weight slow full rom. And for me that’s more important now.

If I’m so sore I can barely walk at work it’s quite an interference 😂😂😂
 
The other day I couldn’t bend legs to well I told coworker if I tried to wave a somebody they may think I’m a neonazi with how I was walking
 
Hahahaha. I wish I could see that. I feel like that some days from this pip I’ve been getting from these compounds.
 
This past summer I was hitting PRs in just about everything but bench. Then now look at me. I’m not back to square one by any means but I probably lost half of what I gained over the summer instead of being ahead of where I was during the summer. I love PRs and heavy weights (my definition of heavy weights is some people’s definition of working weights lol) but I am so disgusted with where I am verse where I could be. It’s hard to switch gears but I am following a similar path as you now.
 
I think you will enjoy it. It will be a rough couple of weeks, it feels like you’re giving up so much by stepping down your weights. BUT I think you will feel so much better in a few months. I think my back has grown the most. Which is problematic for the suit I’m supposed to wear when I finally get to have a wedding ceremony!

It’s worth it in my opinion. I feel so much better,
Joints feel better etc.
