Rusty starting to show lats that aren’t fat Just noticed in mirror when goofing off.
Today I went to bait shop haven’t been in over a year. The owner saw me he say holy crap you been working out!!! Made my day by his response. It feels good.
That’s the best feeling when someone notices haha I love it. I remember years ago going into a supply house with a coworker and the guy behind the counter asked if I was his body guard. It’s been like 8 years and still makes me smile haha
My wife was a cheerleader for a pro football team for three years a while back. It was great fun, saw more NFL games in person than I ever thought I would, met a lot of them, etc. We would hang out after the games, and once I had a fan ask me if I was a reserve linebacker for the team or on the practice squad. I laughed and said no, I just workout a lot to make sure my wife wants to fuck me.
Awesome I’m scared to buy new shirts as I’m not seeing my cut happening to plan just May do maintenance for summer and try recomp. I mean if I can get abs at 280 why drop yo 260 I say
Weighed myself this morning. 231. Three weeks hard work good diet and absolutely no booze. Can’t remember last time I was 231. Strength still not back to where it was pre injuries but getting close. Pulled 390 last Saturday hips and back did great shoulders rolled forward a bit on second rep so I dropped it half way up. Need to work on strengthening shoulders a bit more for better balance. Only at 90 with dumbbells. Gotta get back to the 110s hopefully soon. @Dirtnasty@NeuroRN thought you two would want to hear about weight as we argued a while back about homeostasis at 245 and diet. Lol. I hate being wrong!!!
@Rusty , pound those rear delts and exercises that work your upper back and closing your shoulder blades… when you set up to pull, close your shoulder blades and flex your triceps, this will help keep everything across your back tight… reset between reps if need be
390 is a serious pull, brother! You got me by 25lbs.! And 90lb DBs?! Shit, with my shoulder, I’m lucky to get reps with 70-75 lb. DBs, at least, on incline. You’re doing great. Keep it up. All things going your way right now. Keep the momentum!
Thanks brother. I’m not where I wanted to be when I started this last May but looking at injuries and addiction issues I’m pretty fucking happy brother. @Bigmurph@herrubermensch
