My buddy came in from lunch and told me there’s a gator paddling around out back. It just so happened that I just killed some chicken for lunch and had the carcass. We headed out back to feed him but half the building followed us. Got to see him swimming around but too many people for him to come close enough for chicken.

I’m trying to load a pic of outback behind our office building.

Had to crop it and cut the pretty sky we had today. Those are docks down there so we got pretty close.

He swam away… the fish got the chicken. We were on an elevated dock.

Here’s a better pic from pre florence with the old wooden docks.

Pretty elevated

I Ment more in terms of how that gator is gonna act with humans in the future…

They’re kind of skiddish in general. Of course they end up on the golf courses just kind of hanging out. They’ve eaten dogs before but I haven’t heard of an unprovoked attack on humans.

What happens when you don’t let sleeping dogs lie… or gators in this case.

Just down the road from us.

There’s old docks like that in Savanah that go out in the water for miles. They’re pretty old and sketchy but I’ve seen gators pretty close. The water is so clear you can see the sting rays laying on the bottom. I’ll have to find some old pictures I took.

We got rays and skates everywhere here to. Dudes catch the skates and punch their wings out to make faux scallops.

Seafood trick… if you order scallops in a restaurant and they’re all the same size then they’re most likely skate. Still delicious just not scallops

They seek them as skate wings at the market back home. Friends cook them just like scallops. I don’t really do sea food we moved onto land for e reason haha
