For those that use knee or elbow sleeves how often do think they need to be cleaned? Do you use anything other than soap and water? I was thinking after every use just wiping them out lightly with soap and water then maybe a more thorough clean every other week. What is everyone else doing?

What you’ve got written is probably the correct way.

I don’t do anything even close to that… I’m a slack azz. I wash them as you said whenever I get around to it.

I’ve thrown them in the shower and scrubbed them down while i was in there. I’ve worn them in the pool and rinsed them off that way. Hosed them off with a garden hose.

I’m just a sorry azz. Hahaha

They don’t “soak” up stank so much so just rinsing them off every so often will be fine. Little soap and water won’t hurt either just not crucial.

For a thorough cleaning which I only do a few times a year,
Soak a few min in white vinegar
Then wash with soap and water
Air dry

In a shade under 20 years of competing, I never once washed singlets, sleeves or wraps. I let them air dry after use and when they would get too funky, I’d toss them and buy new. My equipment was a little different, I shit an Inzer Leviathan once and had that professionally cleaned, that was awkward telling the little Asian lady at the cleaners to not use too harsh of chemicals and please get all the shit stain out

Ha ha, I couldn’t even tell you the last time I cleaned one of my elbow ones, like @Poppy a fucking slob

The Leviathan and the Metal Squatters were the best in the game for a while… down side to the Leviathan and my messy accident was, the leviathan is white

I wash mine with soap and water in the sink when they become stanky. No lie. Air dry after workout. Then wash when they smell. 😂

If they’re quality made neoprene etc., then technically you could wash them in your HE washing machine and they’d hold together. Otherwise, you are all washing them about as much as they need to be.

Hahaha i hear ya. Trying to clean up my act brother. Post retirement gig and having a little one at the house.

My sleeves are another story…
