Yesterday evening I was walking around the main street that have a lot of antique stores and such, apparently I was looking suspicious, and the owner came up an questioned me,I impolitely said mind your business, then she asked me to leave, and I did,but asked here where her property ended and I lingered as long as I could, went back to my apt, which is so close they can see where I walked,20 mins later 2 local police are knocking on my door. The lady Trespassed me off that property, which oddly enough connects to my apt building. The cops were cool,I invited them in to chit chat for awhile while I drank my beer in front of them.ha ha good times, living the dream.

It’s a small town, everyone knows everyone and these old ladies have nothing to do all day but sit in their hen houses(their antique stores) and cluck all day.

If you played this differently……Befriending a few of those old ladies would probably get you favoritism in the small village along with some extremely delicious homemade meals.

You might have to occasionally move some furniture or something of the sort but it would be worth the free food.

Well as @Neuro has stated several times before and I have used since… “the best time to plant a tree is yesterday “.

Sooooo… that means it’s never too late.

My opinion is you could go introduce yourself to that lady and (take the high road) apologize for getting off on the wrong foot. Tell her a bit about yourself and your deployments etc.

What have you got to lose? Maintaining the status quo hasn’t been treating you very well.

Maybe your right…but I’m sure she does not want to hear about my deployments and combat action type stuff.

We will see how I feel in a day or two,and maybe go over and talk to her and her 36 hen friends…I don’t think the cop calling part was necessary.

Correct. Public access through ways like sidewalks and alleys are fine. But standing in one spot in front of a place that told you to leave can be loitering and that is an offense.
And very hard to prove. Without video 😄
