So, who is down for a couple's competition?

@PHD had announced something big was coming and to stay tuned, which @SemperFi came out with 2019 NO EXCUSE GAINS COMPETITION!!

To be honest i thought it was going to be a couples competition!! Since it wasn’t, i was thinking we should do one.

The spouse doesn’t have to be a member to be apart of it.

Im not sure what all the details could be, but just thought it would be great idea!!

Im totally lost on how something like that would run, but I would have to say that the couple both have to be active members on UGM… this one will definitely have to have some thought put into it and admins would need to verify rules and guidelines

@mommie2008 please do not feel that your idea is being ignored by the UGM admin. Our plate is very full at the moment and our sponsors have been very generous with The Member of the Month Comp, The new Picture Category and the upcoming No Excuse Gains Comp. To even consider offering another competition that included prize packages would tap our admin manpower out and could be seen as taking advantage of the generosity of the UGM sponsors.

Don’t let the idea die. Put some further thought into it. Just know at the moment, it is my opinion, that it would not get the attention it deserves.

We are always looking for ways to generate involvement by our membership and competitions are a good way of doing that. I appreciate your creative thinking and throwing it out there for discussion. The timing just might be a little premature.

If I am misunderstanding what you are proposing please let me know.

Completely understandable and im sure @mommie2008 will admire your response. I also think this will give her sometime to help develop some future ideas for goals/ competitions based on seeing how our current competitions that are running at UGM go! Thanks for the response.

Usually it’s her always doing the thinking for me! We make a great team and communication is always a big part of our marriage!

But thinking about it… if I do end up on the couch, it’s because the tren keeps making me wake up… and she needs the sleep more than I do!

I completely understand. With all ugm has going on i could take more time and put more thought into it and maybe we do for this sometime next year.

It could even just be for shitz and giggles, just something fun for the couples to do.
