hi there guys, I have changed brand of testosterone still same type (enanthate) got from a sponsor .I took 250 mg in one shot first and after 3 days another 250 mg . The same night of the second shot I got somehow a pretty nasty allergy reaction (swallen eyes and red face). How that could possibly happened? Can It be some sort of ‘overdose’ reaction ? or is it something contained in the new gear ?

in the tag of the vial I can see the followings:

test enanthate 250 mg, benzyl benzoate 0.2 ml, benzyl alchol added as a preservative 9.45 mg; in refined medium-chain triglyceride oil, 560 mg

You can be allergic to certain carrier oils and solvents.

What carrier oil and solvents are in your gear if you don’t know ask through email or however what is in it so that you know moving forward not to use EO or gluicol possibly mct or even mig.

are you sure that your blood pressure isn’t really high because this could be BP

Do you have allergies? Do you know its an allergy?

If eyes are swollen and puffy from test this is a serious allergy. This sounds like an allergy to something else. Almost like shellfish. Either way, stop using that test until you’re positive what the allergy is. That can move to airway quickly.

. would like to upload pic but it wont let me do it for some reasons. In a nutshell: in the tag I see test enanthate, benzyl benzoate o.2 ml, benzyl alchol added as a preservative 9.45 mg; in refined medium-chain triglyceride oil, 560 mg

You need to post more before you’re allowed to post pics. That’s pretty standard for most test preparations I believe but I’m not home brewer so I don’t know.

What makes you certain it was the test?

good question, dont know the answer. What I know is that I had that reaction same night I injected this new brand. according to the label on the vial this is what I can see:

250 mg of test E,
benzyl benzoate 0.2 ml
benzyl alcohol added as preservative 9.45 mg;
refined medium-chain triglyceride oil 560 mg

Okay, what about to old vial? Knowing the ingredients of the new doesn’t help without knowing the old. A systemic reaction from any of those ingredients is pretty rare. But try to find what the other label says and see if there’s any difference.

I’m thinking you were allergic to something else. How long after pinning did you get the reaction?

Ethyl oleate, medium chain triglyceride, miglyol

EO and MIG are the notorious for causing localized injection reactions.

my blood pressure it’s usually slightly high.
what;s BP ?
I know I m allergic to some antibiotics such as Bactrin, Penicillin and Cortison but I m not aware of any other allergies.

BP is blood pressure. You can have allergies and be unaware. Or you can develop new ones as you age.
