The Ozempic Files

I got two more weekly doses at .25 (assessment) and then to .5. I’m sure it’ll get real interesting then.

Probably stay there until next labs in a couple of months.

From what I understand. The .25 is assessment dose and the operating levels are .5 and up.

I can eat through the .25 (fairly easy) out of fear of hypoglycemia.

I would like to see if my a1c keeps dropping with my normal sensible carb intake.

Then I might slowly lower my carb intake to play around with it.

I’m still averaging ~130g of carbs a day.

I will say this… big meals no matter what the macros are…are hard to eat now. I find myself eating less at one sitting.

We had hotdog night earlier this week and I can put away 4-6 loaded up dogs for my treat meal. I could only eat two with a handful of chips a few nights ago.

That’s what I’m thinking except I’m still on other beetes meds too. This ozempic didn’t replace anything, it’s supplementing.

Maybe over posting about this crap but I’m trying to keep a pretty good diary of my experience.

Went to lowes and walked a gazillion steps scoping out current and future projects. I started to get my hunger feelings that usually lead to the shakes if I don’t get something but they subsided. Kind of interesting.

Todays macros so far after lunch. I grabbed an atkins bar (23g c)when I got home so carbs are kind high for the moment but I’m full.

I’ve heard from others that the weekly dose does wear off towards day 7. It did for me today. Had breakfast at 5:30ish and did some running around… got home at 11:30 borderline close to hypoglycemic. Had lunch and opened a bday present that came in the mail… harry and davids chocolate of all things, so I ate two pieces and took my 3rd (week) dose.
