Probably better anyways. Took out wife this morning didn’t see anything. They must be switching to their winter patterns. I haven’t figured those out yet. Their schedule and routes changes every year depending on what wolves are around and coyotes and what crops farmers are planting. Early season is easy.

Been out three times haven’t seen a thing. Farmer has his old hay field tilled under so their food source changed. I put out apples and pumpkins hopefully they find them before the 1st or no more additional deer this year for us.

Damn maybe they all got taken just none left to kill

Haha no way. There is about 25 deer on that piece of property. We only killed three on that piece this year. The other two were on different places.

You guys really keep track of the heard year round?

Not too mich in the summer but come fall we start poking around to see if anything has changed.

Coyote hunting is where it’s at. And their tails are hollow filament hairs… fly fishing outfitters used to pay me $50 a tail. It was a great side hustle when I lived near a lot of farm land.

Never done it. I would definitely be interested in learning. We usually just shoot them if we see them while deer hunting or whatever.

Oh man it’s so damn fun.

They can see better than turkey. Hear and smell better than deer.

So it’s a huge challenge. So fun when it comes together and you outsmart one.

Oh hell yeah. They reproduce crazy fast. So it’s actually hard to wipe them all out.

Stupid permits
