He taught me how to “Farmer fix” things. You know keep it working till you can get back and fix it right. Saved me a lot of times on my bikes… 😂. Taught me a lot about life. And what it takes to put food on the table. Not only for family. But for the nation. Loved him very much.

So what can possibly lock you down on in a “stay at home” state issued order, if everything is actually closed, minus medical, and take-out etc. anyway??

I can’t be restricted due to “Mission Essential”, but if you wanted to drive down 2 miles to your buddy’s closed gym and grab a workout, go for a jog, or just walk to the gym, what would they waste their already stretched thin time on??

Just trying to grasp some things in my head, due to misleading information.
 
I think all the things you listed. You can do. No problem. It just gatherings they frown upon. I know a couple house parties that were broken up. But these were 60 people in a persons home. Way too obvious. And they can site noise/capacity/lack of permits. Chicago is a ghost town.
 
Parts of TN and ky wont even lock you up unless it’s a blatant felony. And same states are being told not to pull anyone over unless you go full Ricky Bobby down main street
 
Just depends on where you live and what they are mandating…

We are actually able to leave the house and do shit… The local gov’t just closed restaurants, casinos, movie theaters, gyms, any place that has the potential of a bunch of people gathered.
Luckily there’s a couple gyms outside of city limits that aren’t affected and I can still go.
But even they are limiting the amount of people in there at once…

Funny thing is our parks are full of people when it’s nice… lol!
But like @TBU said, it’s frowned upon to have house parties or group gatherings…
But fuck them, because i’m not here to prove anything to those judgmental fucks…
If I want to have people come over, then i’ll have people come over.

Well, I live in Florida and we have finally been mandated on “stay at home” order for whole state, but it’s mostly because the southern part of state, which is unfortunately the problem spot was migrating all over, as well as border states making their way in when they got locked down. I actually live in a smaller beach town northwest and minus spring breakers during a normal year, we are pretty much small town Florida.

Buddy owns a gym about 1.5 miles from house and has been kind to let me use it when he and his wife are there doing equipment projects and workouts of their own. But…now she’s an anxiety freak and is stressed about leaving house starting Friday, so not sure what I have left to do, other than buy my own shit, which is hard to find that will deliver sooner than later.

Welcome to everyone else’s predicament.

North Dakota launches app for virus contact-tracing​

The state of North Dakota is launching a new app to help slow the spread of Covid-19.

The app – dubbed Care19 – will help identify individuals who might have had contact with people testing positive for the virus, Gov. Doug Burgum said at a news conference Tuesday.

Users of Care19 will remain anonymous while the app traces their movements throughout the day. If users are found to be positive, they can provide their information to the North Dakota Department of Health, which will help with contact tracing.

The app was designed by ProudCrowd, the designers of a popular Bison Tracker app in North Dakota.

North Dakota remains one of a handful of US states with no stay-at-home order during the pandemic.

The state has 237 confirmed coronavirus cases, including four deaths
