Thoughts on Insulin use? Take a listen

I think in your massing/prep it would definitely help. Just remember it shuttles exactly what you eat.

On the BB side, seems like guys leave fats out of the insulin window.

I have very little knowledge on slin in the PL world. I don’t think the video addresses from a PL standpoint at all.

But man with as much food as you are packing down, to be able to shuttle all that directly… you would be even bigger.

I think what ends up happening is guys use insulin to abuse food and they get fat.

It’s a non-negotiable for the pro’s nowadays.

But for someone like dirt, who packs in food and uses GH, long acting would keep the glucose blood levels down.

Allegedly an insulin use model for PLing is insulin on off days to shuttle and store as much glycogen as possible for max strength the next day.

What caught my attention the most is how relatively safe it is. They were talking about newbie’s taking 10x as much on accident and to just get something to eat and relax for a bit… very interesting.

I did humalog a long time ago. Loved it. My father had me setup to constantly monitor my levels and make sure it was all safe. I can’t remember how many cycles I’ve done with it but I’ve never had a problem.

And many think you need to take it with GH and nah. Slin works great on its own imo.

It’s extremely anabolic in its own right. I’m currently looking at meadows protocol.

4-6 weeks: 4-6 units pwo, with carbs intra workout.
4 weeks: 4-6 pwo, and post workout with intra workout carbs and post meal.
8-12 weeks off using berberine or some
Other GDA.

@Poppy that amount of people I’ve seen intentionally overdose with insulin and fail is very high. I think it’s an even more misunderstood compound than DNP.

I’m assuming slin used as you described is to super shuttle nutrients to your muscles for immediate and thorough ish use….???

Yes!

It’s overall Dual purpose:
  1. Shuttle nutrients into the muscle directly and improve nutrient uptake during training and eating.
  2. For a person weighing 225lbs for example. They will, on average, produce 50ish units of insulin a day. If we follow the age old 1iu of insulin for 10g of carbs- anything over 500mg of carbs a day the body isn’t really using. Causing blood glucose levels to rise, and rising even more in the presence of exogenous GH use. So the coverage of the excess carbs supports the pancreas.
But John meadows method is directed at training and post training nutrient shuttling.

Beings I eat just north of a teenage girl with an eating disorder… this stuff isn’t for me.

Probably be there anyways eventually… genetics can be a bitch.

I know this wasn’t meant to be hilarious…. But I laughed way harder than I should have.

I think in terms of PED use… you no touchy. We’ve got you dialed in at the moment. Adding in astragalus is the only variable in play right now.

Yeah it was… I tell people that they would be pissed if they had to eat what I have to on a daily basis. Hahaha
