Touchdown!

Does the Primo lean her out on top of the Var and provide fairly good aesthetics, or is it a synergistic effect of the Var/Primo combo?

She’s asking and told her I had no clue.

Oh sweet! We got tested again for RMR and DEXA to get a good baseline, since it’s been about 5 years and her RMR was still at 1,950, which is good for 40, 5’2”, and 130. But, she’s been pushing the calorie deficit a bit much IMO, even though she knows better. Normally about 250 deficit is what she pushes when trying to lean out, but she’s pushing it 500+, so adding the Primo with VAR will help tremendously.

Hey you guys are same age as me almost Im gonna be 42 on March 28th! Shes in a great place to start on the var and primo. What you gonna give her 1/2 of an anavar 25mg and 100mg primo a week to start?

Yeah, I’m 45 and we didn’t start dabbling enhanced until about 3 years ago when for some reason both of our Test levels tanked together.

She’s definitely going to run 1/2 of 25mg Var, but wasn’t sure how much PrimoE. I’m guessing you suggesting 100/week should do wonders??

How do you get a RMR and what is a DEXA? Id like to see what is the amount of calories I need to maintain my muscle mass?

Here is a belated touchdown pic… will def be seeing more!

Thanks for the dosing and recommendations for her. She’s stoked, because she has used VAR, but never Primo.

Google RMR locations in your area and see if there are nutritionists or fitness centers that do them. They’re 100% accurate and recommended to do at least once a year for about $50. Mine was at 2,910, which is phenomenal IMO for 45, but told me that I wasn’t eating enough for maintenance the last few years when not on cycle.

Google Dexa scan also and see if there’s a fitness certified place to do it. It’s an X-ray machine that does your total body mass, which gives you bone density, body fat, organ tissue etc. and allows you to get 100% accurate count of BF% and to let you know if you’re losing bone mass too. It was developed by Doctors originally to test for osteoporosis.

42 is nothing brother! I look and feel way better at 45 than I did at 42, so it all goes up hill, if you maintain your goals, which is easier to do when we get older and wiser to not put our bodies through stupid debauchery.

Stupid debauchery happens to be my middle name. I was blessed with strength rather than aesthetics, I’m 2 years in on a fake hip and frantically trying to figure out how to get back on the platform without breaking my fake hip or killing my other real hip that’s probably holding on by threads… Especially now that my wife is getting a little more into powerlifting than she was when I was doing it full time… kinda digs at me.

Just go slow and do lots of low rep accumulation sets before getting to the weight your are gonna use. Slow and steady is always the smartest way to approach it my bro

I’ve always been good about taking my time to warm up. Maybe not as good at mobility as I needed to be, but that’s beside the point. I still take my sweet time, concentrating on form, and keeping everything tight, even on the 135# sets.

Amen. I don’t list it in my log but it’s always a gazillion reps with the bar… getting things flowing and monitoring for any glitches.
