Training the same muscle 2 days in a row

I’ve recently started training legs 2 days in a row, 1st day heavy day- go heavy and give it your all and 2nd day- pump work, light weight and really just focused on blood flow. I’ve added an inch and half using this technique. Now of course I don’t expect this to work forever but as of right now it’s working for me. What are your thoughts on this?
 
That’s some great growth brotha, I always believed in change of routine will yeild greater results. As far as training a muscle 2 days in a row, I believe some muscle groups are more acceptable to this then others. A good example is core and abs do very well with a daily routine. Also the fact you go heavy one day and pump the next will provide a better flow of nutrients to that muscle group during recovery phase.
