Went for a hike this morning

I’ve been thinking about this because they have vans that you can stand up in now I could get like a ford transit van and just add a bed and storage and start driving around I would be in heaven

They actually have bathroom kits you can add to the van its a shower and toilet you don’t need anything else except the little camping grill

Broooooo thats cool that somebody else knows about Kathadin… Honestly i think were supposed to go sometime this month. Its only a 2 hour drive so its very close. Went earlier this year but just did the waterfall which has several swimming holes on the way up…

I’m a mass hole. So Baxter is about 5 hours from me I think. I used to work with some welders from Millanocket that’s how I’m familiar with it. Ive done alot of hiking in the white mountains of NH and as the last couple years the western part of mass near NY border.
 
They make all kinds of kits for these types of vans! You can make it as fancy or functional as you want. Lots of videos on YouTube of people building them!
 
That’s cool I didn’t know about the videos im going to check it out I really want to build one myself I believe that it would probably be good for me also to have a project to work on but im not sure my neighbors would be happy lol
 
Shit dawg 5 hours aint too far for a bucket list…and yes ive heard of millinocket I think my girl wants to take me there sometime I can’t say I’m not from here. they got this small island out here called cabbage Island it’s like $75 a person including boat trip and it’s got massive seafood. They give you like two lobsters per person clams shrimp potatoes corn family run… If anybody watches Mark Weins on YouTube he’s a foodie. Usually does more Middle Eastern food but now he’s doing more US. Anyways that’s where he went and it’s close enough so I guess that’s a bucket list for myself…
 
Yeah I want to do cabbage Island because it’s secluded $75 covers everything boat ride and food and then I’m sure you get to enjoy the island as well. I believe it’s a four hour drive for myself
 
I’ll check him out! Millanocket is just a town (very small) that borders Baxter. Those guys hate the place because they can’t hunt in it. Once you get that far north there’s nothing for miles. It’s not a place you want to break down
 
It is a very nice huge State Park… It’s crazy because once you get to the gate and register it’s like another hour drive in…crucial… but worth it…Supposed to be a decent amount of bears from what the ranger said … And allllll the land … And i mean LLLAANNNDDD… And they want to hate on Baxter… Haha… Thats messed up…

I was going through this thread and then I spotted a man who is wearing thong slippers I’m not sure if this was part of the thread but it brought me to a bad place lol
