What is the shelf life of gear?

I have been in lockdown for a while. Haven’t been able to start using some orals and oils. They’ve been sitting in my closet for maybe 6 months. I think it should be ok but I’m not sure how long they can just be stored. It might be another 2-3 months before I can realistically use them.

You have to wait to use them? That is a great question!! I have some used stuff from last summer. And some stuff from this fall that is partially used. I want in on this question. What is the best way to store oils and orals. Most the bottles I have don’t have an expiration date lol.

I have some pharmaceutical test prescribed to me. I swear it has an expiration date. When wifey rolls out of bed I’ll go look.

All right guys. The “official” labeling on box says store at room temp. The temp range was standard. It was prescribed to me last may and the manufacture use by date is may of 2021. Dont know if that helps.

Generally, as long as it has been properly stored and unopened, I’ll use oils past their expiration date! Orals I’m a little more cautious with, but would still use slightly past their expiration date, I wouldn’t personally use an oral more than 3-6 months out of date, but that’s just me!

Expiration dates are really a cyoa type thing generally things are still healthy to take just maybe a little less potent

It’s fine. And for the most part it means, the stuff or regular meds is gonna start to lose potency after awhile not necessarily go bad @Andrew0409

Yup if stored properly I would say a long time it doesn’t go bad just sitting there now extreme heat and cold not so much think zombie apocalypse wouldn’t matter if it’s ten yr old test or not

Haha if it was the zombie apocalypse and I found a ten year old bottle of test I’d have to try it out.
