I have an internist as my primary care doc. She is a very “high end” doc who doesn’t take insurance and trusts her smart patients to be smart with whatever she prescribes. Can get any blood test any time I want (my state doesn’t let you do it yourself without a doc) and spends at least an hour with me drilling me about everything I’m doing every time I see her. She is realistic and smart.

I’ve ordered test outside state, and used a test station in a state that doesn’t allow you to purchase said lab work. As long as you use the company that is listed on lab work you can take it anywhere.
