Workout program for fat loss

So I’ve never really followed a program. The last year I kinda just worked my ass off and done what I’ve thought works best for my body and what I feel I get a good muscle connection with. But I want to do this cut and discipline myself more with a actual program I can follow. Looking for something free at the moment as I’m just getting back work for the union in the next couple weeks. Also might have to replace some workouts as I’m taking it easy on my shoulders til I see the doctor tomorrow finally lol

Okay, so in terms of the weight room, what are you looking to achieve? Are you working out purely to improve your physique or are you looking to do a sport like strongman, powerlifting or weightlifting?

This is Jeff Nippard’s program. He put together a good, basic general purpose hypertrophy program that should meet your needs.

Cardio and deficit, no weight training program is really meant for fat loss it’s for muscle gain

I’ve heard some of the professional trainers say the only difference between conditioning and fat loss is the diet.

Along with weight training, diet and some sort of cardio will produce fat loss.
 
That’s not entirely true bud. Weight training with higher reps and lower rest times will elicits an anabolic response and help burn fat. More muscle = greater fat burn.
 
I like mixing my weights and my cardio. 20 minutes boxing the a combo of dumbbells and push-ups. I’ve been putting on muscle over the last 5-6 months and losing fat. I’m down to 240(today) from 293(Christmas). And I’ve been working out at home mostly where my equipment is limited but it’s been working out great.
