So sorry to hear that. Gyms were shutdown for a few months during first lockdown here in Florida. I went to a small private-owned gym so it opened up earlier than the chain gyms did. Praying everyone can get back to their business and making money again. These lockdowns are fucking ridiculous, imo. Im pieces here and there as I can afford them for my home.

I bought a set of powerblocks years ago, when I was living in a tiny apt in Brooklyn. go up to 125 lbs each. Got them from a company called Gymsource in manhattan that I did IT work for so they gave me a deal on them. The only thing I dont like about them is they select by sticking pins between bars that hold the plates together. I lost the magnets in the pins so I have to be careful how I hold them so pins dont slide.

Yup, the gyms here are closed, hockey rinks too. Gained 8 pounds over thanks giving. Finally found a place to lift, but the weights are a little light.

So far the gyms are open but there is a 9pm to 5am “curfew”. Nothing open during those hours except grocery stores and gas stations. You can be on the road going to from work…med care…groceries. Something like that… our governor is a nut.
