Another Possible Infection

I had a long post on here last week about an adverse reaction after pinning my left glute. Long story short, my entire glute turned red and I went to the UC and got on antibiotics for cellulitis. I have been taking the antibiotics as prescribed and only have about two days left. The redness etc cleared up fine on my left glute. After waiting for that to clear up I pinned again on the right glute this Wednesday. After what happened last time I was EXTREMELY paranoid about getting another infection so I know I wiped everything down to overkill and washed my hands etc, and didn’t double dip the pin like I did stupidly last time. But yet again I have growing redness on my glute around the injection site. I am really baffled how this could have happened. I had been using this gear for some time now and never had a problem. Could it be that I never had an infection and instead am having some sort of allergic reaction to the higher volumes?

2x in a row would be unheard of. Wait for @NeuroRN to chime in but if you followed proper sanitation protocol you may be allergic to the oil. I’m certainly no doc but in my 20+ years I’ve seen some crazy shit

That’s what I was thinking and I know my protocol was on point this time to the point of overkill because I was so paranoid about it happening again. It’s just strange because I’ve been using this same gear in lower volumes for a few months and never had this happen

This was a different bottle from last time. I threw that one out. But I had used both previously. That one was enanthate this was Sustanon. But they have the same carrier oil

Yeah that is a tricky one. Could you have developed an allgergy? Of course but unlikely in my opinion but 2 infections ina row are also highly unlikely

I appreciate your concern but I’m fine just trying to figure out what could be going on here

If it’s the exact same stuff that was used previously and all the fella did was up the liquid quantity/volume then he might have to drop back down to lesser volume… if I’m reading everything correctly.

Sounds weird, I’m just throwing stuff out

I went through the same situation a handful of years back. Glute turned red and itchy after pinning. Went to doc, diagnosed it as an infection of skin (cellulitis) and prescribed antibiotics. Doc thought it was my sweat or something from the gym that got into the injection site. So I became super obsessive about cleaning my skin and the syringe. Then same shit happened the next week. I tossed the gear and it has not happened since. Im 99% certain it was from D-Labs

I threw that vial out and switched to a different vial. I had used both previously with no issues though. Thinking it may be a reaction to mct because I know my protocol was on point
