So I’ve got a little girl that’s about to be out of the toddler stage….I think about this on a regular frequency because the world is different than when I was coming up in the 90’s.

I want to start by saying I hate that your daughter was humiliated the way that she was. I too would be livid if that happened to my daughter. But once I thought about it…And this may be the unpopular opinion….She deserved it. She slapped multiple cats….

The filming……That’s life these days. If you don’t want to be humiliated then you better whoop that a$$ or be ok with being filmed getting beat down. I hate it and I know you’re trying to protect your daughter but we are old school so we need to change our thought process a little. Fuck an investigation. Do we really need that? No we don’t. Teach your daughter how to do more than slap and you’ll be fine. Asking for an investigation for “bullying” is just adding to this generations problem. Teach her to stick up for herself and protect her self. Every little girl needs to know how to fight. Not slap. That’s what you need to teach her. Not how to “open an investigation”.

I’m 22 so 4 years out of HS. I promise in like two weeks there will be something else online attracting the attention of everyone. You can’t be serious about holding an investigation on the ppl who videoed the fight but not have an investigation on those who were actually committing violence. Let your daughter feel bad about being humiliated online. Maybe she won’t pick anymore fights. Just my opinion
