I agree with @PNWmuscle

Carbs are the boogaloo… very different person to person.

When you can get those dialed in, you’ll have broken the code for your personal needs. It’s extremely hard to go cookie cutter on those.

I can speak about carbs from an old fat diabetic point of view hahaha.

Carbs are not my friend. Luckily I’m done building “big” muscle… except quads maybe.

If you’re a fat diabetic then call me porky the fucking pig.

No more bulking again ever for me either brother, too much strain on the old ticker. Lean and clean is the goal now.

Pay attention to how different carbs affect your attitude, energy, ambition etc. I’ve noticed for me certain carbs make a drastic difference to how I feel and function. They affect us all different. For me personally much more so then different proteins or fats.

That’s honestly something I’ve never thought of. I’ve always viewed a carb as a carb, and never thought anything more of it. Definitely going to hit fitness pal real hard and make a journal. Super good info @Rusty.

It’s the easiest way to keep on diet. The only thing it’s missing to a scheduled macro change for carb cycling.

For example for me anything with wheat really messes me up. High sugars have their place based on previous and post workout. Rice and sweet potatoes I can eat as much as I want and I feel great. Massive difference.
