This is where things get a little more complex. The smallest capsule holds about 120mg minimum. And if your target is 50mg, this means you need to cut it. The idea is simple, but in practice it can be a bit more complex, as if not mixed properly you may have hotspots in your mix, meaning some pills might be 80mg, others might be 20mg.
Some ways I’ve read of doing this, not actually put into practice, is you’d disolve your product in a solvent, like alcohol, and use a misting spray nozzle with your cutting powder in a tumbler.
Then for better accuracy, I’ve heard people putting dye in the alcohol, so when the mix is done, they can lay some of the product on a scanner. Scan an image and detect for the gradients of the colored dye to get an idea of any hot spots.
From there when you have your powder correctly mixed, you will get your correctly sized capsule, and machines, spread it out on top, cap, and go.
