Cardio, Diet and Muscle Growth

Didn’t really see a category for this but I’m wondering about how much cardio interferes with muscle growth. Say I have a maintenance of 3,000 calories and burn 1,000 calories through activity, if I eat 4,300 I’m still in a surplus, so it shouldn’t hinder progress in the long run. Personally I have a massive appetite and can easily consume 4,000+ calories daily. What are your thoughts?

If you’re goal is to be an IFBB pro then anything other than basic fat loss activity will hinder your ability to build bodybuilder size muscles.

@anabolic_geek gave some sage advice sir.

You can’t serve two masters. A real IFBB pro is extremely huge standing next to any other athlete except for the top tier strongmen.

I forgot you are that lean.

If you can eat 4300 calories a day and hit the weight stack hard then thats the way to go. You’ll pack it on.

Just track your intake closely and make sure you’re actually getting that many calories.
 
Training diet logs is perfect for this

Cardio can be good for muscle growth depending upon your goals and diet.

If cutting in a deficit cardio is important if bulking and are a hard gainer you need a huge diet and no cardio your body ends up using all the fuel but cardio is healthy even if bulking 15 minutes to warm up if cutting 30-a hour of cardio depending what kind
 
Sorry if that’s how you feel towards my questions. I just like getting some opinions from you guys and seeing what we agree on. There’s so much BS out there these days I trust you guys more then google. But thank you for some constructive criticism.

I think what @NeuroRN is gently trying to say is , get involved amd show a little gratitude for the information being provided. A simple thanks man I didn’t see it that way or thanks I’ll try that goes a long way. Everyone on this board is here to help an no one knows it all but collectively we know a lot. I’ll leave it at that and save my smarts ass comments for now
 
What is cardio? Jk lol I don’t do cardio because I don’t have any reason to be running or chasing anyone lol but some people are passionate about cardio and running in general but I personally don’t care for it and doesn’t serve any purpose in achieving my personal goals. If you like it keep doing it brother.
