Cramps at work.. please help

Just be sure to have some salt added to your water, preferably a accurate and adequate electrolyte blend.

I got heat exhaustion walking around Istanbul all day last summer, almost heat stroke. I drank so much water, it flushed all the salt out of me, dehydrated me more. My green shirt had white streaks all over it by days end.

As everyone else has mentioned, add salt to your water(make sure it’s a good mix, you can look online to see how much to add per gallon etc). I assume since you work for a drilling company, you are outdoors in the heat and constantly drinking water. By doing so, the water completely flushes your body of the necessary electrolytes so just make sure you’re replacing them. Also try some potassium supplements, as stated above… bananas don’t carry a high enough content to do much. Good luck man, I know they can be a real bitch to deal with.

Potato chips. Check out the potassium in a bag of chips. It’ll shock you. My homie is a pro ball player. He got yanked cuz of cramps and the team doc brought him a bag of chips. Oh wow, 6 month old thread lol my bad.
