Raloxifene and joint pain

No other symptoms. And yes doc agreed with it being gyno. Haven’t tested for progesterone but we did test for prolactin and it was within range.

My thinking has been maybe due to some strange circumstances before I began TRT that my E2 spiked and caused a little gyno and after it developed it seems to have much more of an affinity for the E2 molecule than it did before.

Never had an itchy nip in my life before that, even running a nice dose of test in my early 20’s.

My doc is also not very savvy with all this. Old guy and more of a pill pusher type, seems like most of his knowledge is a little dated.

It may have something to do with your androgen:estrogen ratio.

Honestly it might be a good idea to look into proviron or mast for you.

It’s strange it came at the time it did.

Or you may need to look into nolva which is more specific to the binding of estro in breast tissue.

That’s really the only thing I can think of. But His estro was 28 and test was 1200. That’s the reverse of estro dominance. Maybe before trt that’s what caused it? Estro that low shouldn’t be doing anything, you’d really want to see that number higher with test that high?

So file under pre-existing unknown origin…
Might me good to know SHBG before those?

(Sidenote: I know absolutely less to little about how all this Polypharmacy shit works)

Went ahead and ordered some Tamoxifen. Only time I’ve ever taken that is during PCT 10 years ago. No idea how much I took back then, but it sounds like 10-20mg/day long term is the way to go.

How much would you guys be concerned about the lowering of IGF-1 levels? It sounds like I’ll end up taking a small dose of this throughout my cycle. If the drop in igf is a concern what would be a conservative way to keep it up? I’m not too keen on injecting the stuff…
