Curious Question About Life

I actually think that this is a great question and I use working out to relieve the anxiety and other issues that I have I also use medication. The medication is important part of making things right. I will say one thing brother no matter what is happening there is always help out there and definitely take advantage of it whether its talking to us here or going to the doc and getting started on some meds.

There are so many different answers of what a person can do but I believe that it is really self specific. Its really going to be something that you like so the best way to figure it out is just experiment with different things until you find what works for you brother. I know that the gun range and hiking are 2 other activities I also do to help with my anxiety issues.

Awesome, good feedback from everyone. And I’m in no type of way suicidal or will ever be because I think that’s one of the stupidest things you can ever do or think of (sorry). But once awhile anxiety, depression gives me a good punch and I just get super tense and it’s more of annoying thing for me

Breaking things make me feel great, also sittin in a tree alone and quiet works wonders, if I come home angry I will bring a few beers outside and chop wood to disperse whatever is going on inside, doing something nice for my wife n kid help me stay calm to like a little note in there lunches makes me feel more grounded.

breaking things tends to be a bit too expensive of a coping mechanism for me. plus accidentally breaking a mirror in the process and getting the ol 7 years bad luck is icing on the cake

I been to a million therapist, group sessions,CTP counselor, holistic life coach, and of course meds and more meds.

I think one of the most important things is acknowledging how you’re actually feeling. If you’re feeling depressed or anxious, it helps more to admit to yourself that you’re feeling that way than it is to pretend like it’s not happening.
I used to get so anxious and try to tell myself nothing was wrong, which in turn made me more anxious. Just admitting what i I was feeling was anxiety greatly reduced by negative emotions and helped me to identify triggers.

@John In my humble opinion, when you’re to that point, you need a break. Whatever that means to you. Sleep all day and watch movies, get lost in the woods, whatever works for you. Reset and come at things with a fresh mind state. Might need MD or Rx intervention, might just need rest

Yeah tried most don’t have time for others buddy, not to say I’m highly unstable but it’s always there lingering while I’m maintaining a normal life

Only thing that ever bothers me in life is working for people dumber than me and just being around dumb clueless people in general. People are so absorbed in fake bullshit these days thanks to social media their reality is so convoluted its just disgusting to me. I see people taking selfies and i want to drop kick them. I see people staring at their phones in gym more than they are working out and again i want to give them quick elbow to the nose since they aren’t paying attention to anything going on around them. The world is a shit box now. Not many “cool” people around any more. I miss the late 90s. Wish i was around for the 70s and 80s. These generations suck BALLZ.

And you don’t need medz. Put on Joe Rogan and have a good laugh. Do some volunteer work during the holidays. It actually feels good to help people in need. Makes you grateful for what you do have. Also keep your diet clean. I know when i eat like shit i feel like shit.
