I had an x girlfriend like that we were sitting in a restaurant with friends one day and she was holding my arm loving on me one minute then literally had a fork to my eye the next then my x wife before we married was laying in bed one night rolled over and smiled rubbed my head while holding my hand smiling and whispered if you leave I will fucking cut your dick off rolled back over and went to sleep like nothing happens … ah true love
 
Seems about right I’ve been inserted one minute the next getting slapped in not the fun way
 
Deadlifted on Saturday, everything felt great, I pushed myself to 195 off the floor and 225 for rack pulls from knee height. I took yesterday off to relax and squatted today. This week will be kind of messed up, I’m cramming squat, bench and deadlift into 3 consecutive days (same order as a meet, haha) because this weekend we’re taking our grandson up to Minnesota to spend time with some family up there.
Squats went surprisingly well today for being so soon after a deadlift workout, and also my first real squat workout in a while. I wasn’t able to do all the assessory work, I was fighting some wicked cramps and fatigue, however, I did hit 150 lbs on squats and was able to get just below parallel very comfortably!

Had another RPE 6 Bench workout today, I wasn’t feeling it all that much on bench, just kind of blah after a long day outside at work. I could have gone heavier on floor presses, but I was fighting a little tightness in my low back/tail bone region… here’s the workout.

Deadlifts tomorrow night before we head north for the weekend.

Tonight’s workout was another RPE 6 deadlift. I only did 3 assistance exercises due to squatting only 2 days ago, however my deadlifts felt amazing! My top set tonight was 4 @ 230 lbs. I could have gone a little heavier, but I know I cannot push to hard yet. Slow and steady and ease in. Next week will be a de load week, then everything will step up again for two weeks.

This week has been a deload week, also a very busy week. I’ll update this post with my logs from this week later tonight
 
Here are my logs for this week, like I said, De Load week… bench day I was full of energy, on my DL day I was wiped but still felt strong, today was squats and although they felt good, I still get some un easiness hitting parallel… I’m not sure if it’s in my head, or what, but there’s little to no feeling in my left hip, so feeling my depth is almost impossible as I always feel like I could be leaning… however, if my deadlift continues to progress like it has the last few weeks, I could be looking at competing again just outside of a year out from surgery… if I could hit between 410-460 kilos (approx 900-1000 lbs) total out of bench and DL, I would def. compete again! That being said, I’ll probably be slowly upping my test starting in the next few weeks, 200 mg a week has me feeling kinda like a little boy, 400-500 mg sounds better, along with 200-300 mg NPP for joint/ligament health.

Here’s some logs from last week. Deadlifts fee stronger and stronger every week, and for some reason I’m more comfortable pushing those rather than squats. I’m still a little Leary at the bottom of the hole on a squat, I probably could have hit 200 for 3 yesterday, but I erred on the side of caution!

Benched last night, was supposed to beat my week 1 numbers. Beat them by 2 kilos, I know, I bench like a bitch, it’s never been my strong point… if I want to do push pull, I’ll have to step it the fuck up
