Feb. 6th DINNER edition of lifting and diets

Iced fished most the day,just got home,me n my bro in law did good,lots of pickerel n bass.Dinner is homemade pierogies,had 13 last night,with venison kielbasa,and a salad. Didn’t lift today.
 
Don’t really have any good pics,but we smoked em on the ice today
 
I’m not sure when the last time i had freshwater fish other than catfish at local mom n pop restaurant which I’m sure comes from a farm.
 
They don’t have a fish stand close… you’re not too terribly far from the coast. I figured someone would have a milk run running fresh fish inland.
 
Breakfast was 3 slices of bacon, 3 whole eggs, hashbrowns with cheese and ketchup, 4 pieces of raisin wheat toast, waffle, and grits. Followed by a shake. Pasta fixed with ground bison for lunch. Another shake and Drumsticks laid out for dinner. Not sure of sides yet at the moment. No training today. Wednesdays and Sundays are my off days. So I’ll eat and nap the majority of today.
 
We didn’t keep any,they were all bass n pickerel…no trout,perch,crappie…
 
Hey dirt,you know there’s other fish to eat then salmon,there’s trout,catfish,crappie,perch(poor man’s shrimp)tuna,striper(my Favorite)…etc
 
Deadlifted today… had a lot of funny feels in my hip, so we took her pretty easy… plus the fact that I’m still sick, and now my phlegm is greenish brown. Didn’t eat much, appetite isn’t there
 
I truly appreciate your articulate descriptions on how your doin…but really I’m glad you checked in,I was gonna reach out…and now here we are…

For dinner I had a boiled chicken breast with taco sauce on it and a half box of rice-o-roni chicken flavor and cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli.
Today I did a home workout where I supersetted push-ups with band rows up high then supersetted feet elevated on a chair push-ups with band rows mid-body height: it felt real good for a change of routines. Less stress on the old joints and ancient injuries. Although, push-up are hard on the elbows but the pump is real nice! Time to relax then have a protein/oat shake before bed.
 
Fuck man, my January Covid started with a sore throat the first night. I hope you’re better in the morning.
Sleep apnea sucks! I’ve had it for many years but never did anything about it. I toss and turn all night long and get up to pee at least 4 times a night. But because I never get deep sleep I have very vivid dreams even if only for a few minutes. They’re super realistic.
 
I need to get back on track. With the new job I don’t move around as much as I did when I was out in the field. Then throw in being sick the last few days, and like I said, when I get sick it’s never good. This is the first time since 2016 I’ve been sick, before that was 2011, before that was 2008 and before that was probably Jr High School in the early 90’s. I don’t ever get sick, so when I do I’m a complete fucking baby.
