Female Cycle Of Primo - Effects Bloating?

Hi I am looking for some general feedback on females taking primo vs var.

I am not in a caloric deficit, nor am I in prep. I am just looking to gain some lean muscle over time. My usual stack has been var 5mg daily for 8 weeks with nolvadex 10 mg a day, with HGH 2IU a day for 8 weeks on and 8 weeks off. I had good results with that, but wanted to test out primo vs var. I will say I am also on birth control pill with the lowest estrogen level possible at 10mcg. I am currently 2 weeks into primo and taking it 2x a week (Monday and Thursday 10 mg each=20 mg per week). I have noticed bloating in the my lower abdomen area where it looks like i gained 10 lbs in that region, yet my body weight has stayed the same. Is this is known side effect? should I not take it with nolvadex?

I didn’t have bloating with primo @300-400 a week and I’m a bloat monster like beachball gut.

Everyone is different

Admittedly female stuff is way out of my wheelhouse although y’all gals get much respect from me. When I was attending a public gym the females in general one to one out trained the guys hands down. Not even close. Guys tend to be “guidos” in there doing everything but training.

I’m going to tag in a couple of others. @NeuroRN @Kad1 @PHD

Hmmmm. The only side effects I got with primo was less $$$ in my wallet and I’m a frail broke down old man. Haha

Might be your nolvadex. Some of this stuff has negative synergy in some folks.

Sounds like an estrogen issue I imagine with the birth control, Nolvadex, and Primo. What about changes in your diet? Anything new other than the Primo?

Birth control is most likely causing you to respond atypically.

With the estrogen BC, nolva, and primo I’m GUESSING your body is a tad confused.

Angiotensin 2 is the cause of bloat. Increase in androgens and estrogen increases these levels.

I will be totally honest and say I’m not 100% certain in anything other than womens hormones are 100x more confusing than mens.

You could drop it, go back to Var. You could drop it, leave the androgens off the table until you’re off BC. try doing just test by itself at an HRT level of 3mg a week.

Or take an ARB preferably telmisartan at low dose to block the RAAs cascade.

So the only changes in diet is I have incorporated new foods that I usually don’t eat…garlic, apples, brussel sprouts, white potatoes, and multi grain bread (where I usually have broccoli/green beans, Ezekiel bread, basmati rice, and strawberries/clementines). I don’t track my macros in my off season and just eat “intuitively”. So it could very well be bloating from diet changes.

Yea unfortunately going off BC isn’t an option… I was on this same BC when I did my last prep a year ago and cycled with Var, Clen, and Nolvadex was added in the last 6 weeks of prep. I take this supplement by Nuethix called “Estro-Court” all year round and took while in prep with my stack. I have been told that increased androgens will cause bloating and I have also been told that primo is way more potent than var, so instead of 10mg 2x a week, I can bring it back down to 5mg 2x week and see if that improves anything. If it improves then that would be a signal and then honestly I probably would just go off of it and back to var. It’s just crazy because from the photos it looks like a 10ln gain, yet the scale says the same in weight and body fat%

which is an easy fix!!! I will put back in the normal foods first… see if that changes over the next 7-10 days…then look at decreasing the primo a bit if fixing the foods didn’t work. I am not going to lie this bodybuilding shit is confusing as f* with hormones, diet, and all these other variables haahaa

ESPECIALLY in women. Adding BC. the constant flux of multiple hormones monthly.

I say remove as many variable as possible. Go back to the previous diet. As you stated. Then adjust primo. Then drop it all together if needed.

Primo changed my ex’s voice on 50mg pharma grade once a week. It’s notorious for that. I’ve had female clients on turinabol which works very well. 10-20mg/day is a good dose. I’m not sure what’s causing your bloating in the lower abdominal region. That didn’t happen to my ex.

Here is Victor blacks model for female growth phase. With top left category being the last to add in to minimize lifetime exposure.

Trt for women at 3mg a week being baseline.

However, I’m not sure how all of this interacts with BC. unfortunately medicine is still LARGELY, and by that I mean 99%, male biased in terms of meds and research.
