I bet, my dad was with tanks and he said when they were out in the field, the little German kids would come and sell them beer and plates of hash, i find that amusing, and I was like yeah Dad sounds like your training real hard

lol…well, I was a tower rat…I gaurded the perimeter in towers…I worked 3 days on and 4 days off…I had alot of time to get in trouble!

Dam four consecutive days off is a hell of a lot time to get in trouble

Be thankful for that. Much better then waking up in a foreign jail wondering what the hell happened. And being embarrassed when they send someone to get you out and your only thought is your happy no one was killed so even tho its fucked up your not going to see time anywhere lol.

I will say this though, I have met a lot of good people over there. Still friends to this day.

definitely. I left the states after because of the people I met overseas. Went private contract and went on from there. Met too many great people thru ISAF and others always loyal and there thruout everything.
