I believe that they were talking about the holds and being able to control someone by there thumb wrist face and so on not the warrior type of stuff for the military
Never too old for live sparring. Throw on a body suit and head gear and go a couple of rounds with someone your skill level. Always a good time, good workout, good cardio.
I’ve got boxing gyms near by but none are sparring gyms. It’s basically just a cardio routine, which is great but I don’t need a gym for that. I’m not paying $100+ a month to hit a variety of bags. I want the challenge of combat.
