Get Shredded with Clen

She is. And she’s way smarter than me. She hasn’t take Clen In awhile but she has a stack of her EKG printouts keeping tabs on it all.

This is all fun and games… until you tell a patient their in AFIB, and they dead ass say to you: “not possible. My Apple Watch would have told me.”

……

Oh. Okay. You’re probably right. And the 12 wires I have placed on your chest to measure the electrical impulses from your Heart are probably wrong. Fuck it! You should just go home.

You know me @NeuroRN . I would never rely on an Apple Watch for anything and don’t even own one. Just making a joke based on the folks from my gym who always rely on their watch for everything.

FYI…Hillsborough County Paramedic 6 years, Marine FMF Corpsman, and currently PA-C UF Health.

I used to live there… got out of the marines and went to Tampa Bay. I had orders to mcdill spec ops command with my buddy. I did not reenlist so i just tagged along with my buddy.

I guess mcdill is still there.

Graduated back in 2008 and just now got down here to work for UF Health (Formerly Shands).

I’d say you’d be surprised who actually thinks that a watch is a reliable source for medical, but I am sure you’ve heard it just as much as the rest of us. 😂🤣

Yes Sir! MacDill is home to CENTCOM and SOCOM. And a million healthcare places to work, so take your pick. 😬

There’s a couple high rises in downtown tampa I worked on. There was so much construction in tampa st pete at the time you could just ride around and walk on to job sites with your tool belt and get hired. I’ve been told the place is humongous now.

It’s actually a lot better than I thought it would be once I decided on that route versus nursing school or Pharmacist. Of course Florida still has their specific provider laws etc., but it’s very flexible, which gives me an opportunity to move around and do different things.

Shands/UF have definitely sunk their talons into the Florida healthcare industry. USF has a pretty good program and has a great partnership with the VA hospitals in Tampa & St. Pete.

It took us awhile to get back here and we’re so happy to be back and away from the Atl scene.

Hell yeah it is @Poppy after the housing and banking fallout of 2008, Tampa has made a steady incline climbing from the trenches. Not too slow, but too fast paced either, and different genres for everyone to enjoy life outside of work.

Bring it @NeuroRN ! We are bleeding for medical professionals all over down here.
