Happy Birthday December 24

You ok brother?
I torn my Labrum playing a tournament and I had to get my mental health in check after that bc it really messed with me . Physically , mentally and emotionally. Fast forward to now and things have been getting better . My shoulder is about 75 % but the only way to get it 100% better is to start doing light work or get surgery and I can’t afford to be off work for 12 weeks post surgery :( So now I think this yr is the time to get back after it . My dr says I need to start exercising again anyways :)

Ouch. Hope you heal up!!!

That sucks @Vargas33...but why/how did it affect you mentally and emotionally? I know guys who lost limbs, has huge chunks blown out of them,so I can't picture your mental/emotional distress over a injury that you chose to participate in?

I think like anything else bro when you develop habits in life for training it becomes a routine. Take away the ability to do that routine with an injury people have to learn to adapt.

I think it's how a lot of athletes even pro athletes get depressed, fat and watch their careers thrown away because they never learned to adapt properly and change after an injury.

It's a different level obviously then guys that lost limbs and had to learn to live again without them.

Your right. And yes I was being negative but I've been doing somewhat daily posting, for years now,and I always add in gratitude for my daughter, family, snow, hunting, fishing etc,but you apparently only pay attention to my negative posts...I'm positive with most of the people on here,it's you I'm negative with, guess for some reason I don't like you.
And by the way,you don't need to go to war to see tucked up shit, but for infantry guys like me,who went to war 3x, we seen it happen, more then 1x,or 2x,or 3x,and nevermind the death a veteran might see when he's living his civilian life,so yes @Vargas33 im going there.
