sounds like a heck of a partyWent to annual pig out at step son’s father in law. He lives on a pretty nice ranch out in the country. Actually it’s very nice…
I prefer my turkey baked (wifes and mother in law) but this dude fries the best turkey I’ve ever had and makes the best collards I’ve ever had. Everyone brings stuff so there’s enough to feed over a hundred people. He provides “to go” plates so everyone can get leftovers.
Always a good time.
I’m sitting here stuffed!!!
Brother… it’s always outstanding… delicious. Countless sides… mostly good old fashioned southern foodsounds like a heck of a party
Where the…Happy Thanksgiving mofos. Hope you are all well!
I wrote an article on here a couple weeks ago. I entered a pl meet at last minute on a whim. My legs (nerve damage) are still on the mend so I was a bench only wiener. I hadn’t done any significant benching in over a year (reality a few years) but trained all the ancillary lifts around it. I ended up pressing 275 with a lot left in the tank. I had lost every bit of 10-15 more pounds of bw due to getting labs in line so I did that at a bw of 180.How have you been, big guy? Family well?
Thanks, man. I love not having to suck corporate dick or kiss the ring any more. I wasn't very good at it anyway.Congrats on retirement. I believe you’ll like it. Glad you got a good settlement out of it. You’re no dummy… your engine biz will do good. As far as the gym stuff. I’m of the opinion that taking a break like you did is extremely beneficial for guys our age. Let’s everything heal up.
Family is all good. Baby girl is growing up. She’s 10 now and a “young lady”. Oldest grandchild will be driving next year. Just had a gender reveal for newest grandchild and…. Drum roll…. Another girl. That was most likely my last chance for a boy in the family. Oh well I’ll have another princess in my posse.
I hope so. Will definitely take it slow on the shoulders to be sure I don't go backwards!I wrote an article on here a couple weeks ago. I entered a pl meet at last minute on a whim. My point being is your break from hard training will pay off for you in the long run.
