Just draw it when you’re ready to pin why would you want to pre draw for any amount of time? Sorry too lazy and don’t really want to read all the comments maybe you answered this
Time. I used to preload slin pins. A week at a time. Instead of waiting 10-15 mins each pin or wasting a larger needle every day you can backload all your pins for a few days and just put a new needle tip on daily.
I don’t see much of point if using larger gauges. But if using a thicker compound and slin tips, backloading saves a lot of time.
@TG@PHD my pin schedule is really small: 1mL NPP mixed with .5mL TestP EOD. I just pump .5mL air in the Test P then draw 1cc out of NPP vial. Once I filled 1cc, I go back to Test P and fill up to 1.5mL mark and done.
My only “waste” is the 18g drawing needle. It’s all done with 1 syringe EZPZ
I always use an 18 gauge needle to draw with them put my pinning size needle on. I even do this with 27g. U can reuse the 18 over and over just take some alcohol and purge it out after u inject ur shots. Takes no time at all I’m pinning 5 times a day and doesn’t cost me any time at all
I use to mix it all the time. It doesn’t hurt. I now just carry all my gear in a zip lock bag with my pins when I travel. Got tired of preloading and pressure from flying cause some compounds to leak out. This is much easier to just carry everything. Do at your own risk though.
I mix my stuff when I use to preload but I know what to mix what with what. I forget a lot of people on here aren’t that experienced. So yes @TG has a valid point.
