Arnold use to eat five meals per day and he said he couldn’t eat big meals. Just a ten ounce steak. He also said he drank two protein shakes per day to make up difference. And he has plenty of muscle.
Well I’m an experienced bodybuilder and weightlifter and I’ve always followed the if I don’t have abs I shouldn’t “bulk” for me going higher than 12% just made no sense. I wasn’t significantly stronger and I looked and felt worse. My leanest is 5% can walk around comfortable at 7-8%
I’m not genetically built to have abs showing but I’ll give it try. I did 2100 calories for 4 months and
After 2 hated life so hopefully with the mass I’ve added 3000 will be doable to drop pounds
If you diet correctly you shouldn’t be hangry , lol. I’m not talking week of a show diet, eat clean l, often and you should be fine. Add a few days of some steady state cardio in
I did the dunk tank stuff and one of my BB buddys went too it was pretty accurate after you figure out how to let your breath out. Had me at 215lb of muscle bone and organ and rest fat which sounds right I’m at 255 now he gives all kinds cool info from it like what your caloric intake is and what you burn based on your weight. I’m sure it’s not as good as the high tech stuff but 55$ Is in my price range
Me honestly I live around 20% I can’t walk around thin at 12-15% I need some weight on me.
When bulking its not really about how high your bf is unless you are obsese and then you need to bring it down around 20% or less is really a good way to look at it because if you have higher you get side effects and problems easier.
