I used to dread going to GNC. It was like walking into a used car dealership.

I think so. I walk into one every now and then if it’s next to my original stop. They usually have absurd sale prices. Protein bars $1 type of thing that I take to work.

I remember when they were crazy expensive. My cousin who never lifted a weight a day in his life managed one lol. I would get all the returns for free they would throw out.

I worked at Gymees, owned by some Manion. All the Omadren was in back(1989-91). Best job i ever had. That’s Sad… But true. I remember the self credit card swipe. I couldnt work one the first time I let my buddy " mix me an amino acid drink" That night we all emptied our ATM. I couldnt believe it. 3 bloated bbers and a manager that hated bbing, she just signed our timecards 5bucks/hr. We all took turns napping, eating, our store was the biggest and had soloflex for sale. We trained. We use to have a rule… “customers” had to buy the ultimate orange occasionly or no other things. Funny, I would love that job, time in life, a little later in lifeI was always skeptical of any vitamins. I missed the whole pro hormone thing. My GF at the time used a post or pre workout that had us almost beating each other because I was " quit taking my stuff" ! She was getting great gains! Those were the days!
