Most steroid forums have a policy that would prohibit s source from trying to sling gear by PM. I think there is a clear difference between slinging gear by PM and members talking freely about non verified sources by PM.

Suppose I was looking for some bacteriostatic water and PMed a member asking about it. There are no verified sources that have it in stock so that would make it a rule violation for a member to tell me where I can find it.
If a member asks me where to buy a certain brand of needle am I not allowed to mention a supplier thats late on his rent? Is it even clear what sources are current on the rent? Pharmacist hasnt logged in a year, is he still verified? Fill the Syringe has a private label under his name, still verified?

UGM has been building a reputation as an uncensored forum but now we are seeing censoring of PMs

This is exactly what we are talking about no one is allowed to sell via pm. What happened with you promoting a sponsor that wasn’t verified yet I even told you wasn’t a big deal because 8 days later they were verified.
What we are trying to avoid here, to put it into words is a shill or rep to come onto ugmuscle and pursude members to use an unverified sponsor. We want to support our verified sponsors. We also don’t want others coming in and in pm robbing our members which happens alot around the community not just ours but every online community.
You bring up a very good point we have no verified medical supply shops or accessories shops. We have verified medlabgear but they want to stay private. When it comes to this we also have always allowed gpz and all the others to be posted. I have never enforced this against a member for posting there favorite brand of supplements or medical supplies shop.
Every verified sponsor has sponsor or verified sponsor under there name they also have a dedicated sponsor category. There reps have reps under there name.
Fts having a private tag means exactly what it says he went private he is not verified.
Current sponsors who are verified have a big green ball on there account plus a tag under there name that says so.

Were not nor will we ever censor anything.
We will not allow anyone to break the rules of the site either. If you don’t know the rules send me a pm id be happy to help you out anytime as you can ask everyone else on the site that write me pm’s all the time and I work hard on answering them asap.

Recently we have seen a couple members who are reps for other sources on other sites come in and try to PM deals to our members. One of those reps “sources” scammed people under a different name previously on the other forum. They did the scam and then showed up again under a new name. This is what we need to watch out for our members so shit doesnt happen here.

If any rep went to another board and tried that the board would ban them as well.

another member PMs me asking where I got mine.
Is if a rule violation to say I got it from FTS, a non verified source?

Is it a rule violation to say I got it from XXXXX on eroids? Can I even mention the name of XXXX in this post if they are not verified here.

Is it routine for mods to check member PMs? Do you check everyones or was I suspected of being a shill?

I will be cleaning up all this confusion today.
After today there will be only one category for sponsors. The only reason for the remaining category that is causing the confusion is because we made a change and had one verified sponsor left that was in this category.
All verified sponsors will be in the sponsors category and the rest will cease to exist on the site.
As far as discussion about non verified sponsors.

@Burrr I believe you are confusing censorship with general rules of conduct. Every community and every organization have general rules of conduct. Without such things the chaos through the actions of a select few can harm the community as a whole.

As has been stated there has been actions by a very small few that could harm the security of the community as a whole. Taking action against this type of behavior is not censorship. If the guidelines pose a problem for how you choose to participate your best course of action is to change how you choose to participate within the guidelines.

Just use common sense and if you ever have any questions about what can and cannot be done please feel free to contact me. I may not have the answer you seek at that specific time but I do know where to go to get it.

I really appreciate that you brought this up.
I have been having trouble with the points that you brought up. Me and @SemperFi have been trying to get to a certain date and that’s when we were going to make the changes. We decided today that it has caused to much confusion and needed to be taken care of right away.
Now there is only one place where you can go to find verified sponsors at ugmuscle. All verified sponsors have a dedicated sponsor category now. This should end all trouble with where posts are placed and where to find all our sponsors.
You know that I agree 100% with being uncensored. I want to explain at ugmuscle when we say uncensored were talking about that members can openly speak about taboo subjects that other forums don’t allow. We really allow alot more than 90% of other forums would ever allow.
Were also always open to getting ideas from members on how we might be able to make the site better.
At ugmuscle were all about our membership first we love our sponsors and we appreciate everything that they do but we are and always will be about our membership first. If there is ever anything that you believe isn’t right or should be changed please bring this to my attention.
This is for any member, anyone, sponsor or member can bring anything to my attention and I will appreciate it very much. Just write me a pm anytime. We meaning the staff work hard because we want ugmuscle to become one of the best if not the number one forum and I believe that without the members we can’t become number one.

I have decided because of the trouble this situation was causing that I would move forward with solving the issue today and it should be 75% resolved. Tomorrow it will be 100% resolved. If there are any questions about the changes me and @SemperFi are available to help.

If anyone has an issue with something or wants to know why something is the way it is. Contact me and if its not a security issue I will explain the reason behind it. Im always available to help. I usually always respond in less than 24 hours to all private messages.

I wanted to let everyone know also that if I get a tip I do check someone’s account but I also have a schedule and system of checking the private messages in place that I do on a weekly basis. So any member or sponsor who think that we will never find out what is happening in pm this is not true.
Now that @TG has said that if something that is wrong is found in pm or even in the open im going to have to move forward with a ban. I have decided that this will be a ban based on a situation by situation basis.
I believe that a temporary ban is going to be a better approach because I don’t like to ban anyone permanently. If someone is banned permanently I will not say why because I won’t discuss this so please don’t ask.

I appreciate everyone’s help. It takes a village lol or a bodybuilding community to become number one. I know that I want ugmuscle and Anabolicdevelopment to become number one and two. I believe that we are number one already and were still growing and in time the numbers will match.
We have the best sponsors in the community. There are more sources that I would like to become part of ugmuscle.
If you’re a member and you use a certain source that is not verified. You know is a top notch source tell me about them. Let me get in contact with them and I will try to get them verified. Ask them to get in contact with me if you can at [email protected]

In the spirit of an uncensored forum, I would prefer to see private messages be private.
If 2 members discuss an unverified source that should remain private and not be a violation.
Of course, anyone actively soliciting by pm should be banned.

For comparison, if I were to discuss a ugm specific source like iron junkie or apeshit by pm on eroids or meso I would not be violating rules.
And again. Not shilling but asking and answering questions.

Suppose one of the sources we used on muscle gurus had some really cool blend.
Should it be a violation for me to ask Semperfi he still had an email for an old source?

Just my thoughts, I will respect the rules as written.

I actually agree and this will continue to be discussed.
The problem is that it can lead to people justifying the bad things that there doing.
I know that this is not what you are doing but others always ruin it for the people that aren’t doing wrong.
That’s why I wrote it will be situation by situation.
I will always take into account what is actually happening. If someone is actually thinking that they are smarter than us and are playing games I will ban immediately but 2 members in discussion having an intelligent conversation is something that I will just pass on by.
You know what is right and the situations that were talking about. You discussing something like what you describe is not going to make me ban you.

If a member is discussing for example
Hey semp I have a guy who has hgh for 100$ a kit he is at eroids his site is XXXX.HGH and if you want I can hook you up with him for a great deal.
Bannable offense

Example
Hey semp I was at eroids and saw a great deal on hgh. You should check this guy out I think that you would really be interested. I sent a pm to your account there also check it out.

Difference you tell semp to goto eroids where you sent him a pm with contact information for that src.

I really think that this is fair. In all honesty do you agree. I want to know your honest opinion as a member of ugm?
