Funny that in 20 years we will be socialist. I just read an article that we will be more conservative by 2040. Why? It’s about numbers. The average conservative family has on a good 2.2 children per household. 2.0 is what is required to maintain a particular counties background and is origin of beliefs. Liberals and those of left ideals (socialism etc) avg 1.37 children per household. So the ideology of tgat mind set is dwindling. Those with more conservative views will win as long as the conservative family’s keep the beliefs in place. People like AOC or the squad or any mindset such as her will quickly become the minority and a more sensible conservative view will be the norm. Even now democracts are slowly realizing this. Obama recent came out against the far left views and said to win and stay in power needs to be a much more moderate leftist view… I’ll see if I can dig up the article. It was pretty interesting. As long as the far left think it’s insane to bring in more babies, I see the shift. Even younger kids if you talk to them (12-13) are like what is going on?

Many children have different mindsets then their parents do. That’s a given. The growth has nothing to do with parental beliefs any longer. The growth of media and access to the internet allows kids to make up their own minds.

Supporters of Bernie Sanders soared this past few years. And liberal media outlets push people like AOC and all in a far better light then conservatives. On top of it, immigration is not exactly bringing more conservatives at all.

Before the internet and access you could possibly account the rate of children as they had nothing to listen to except their parents. Now colleges are going far left, high schools as well. Conservatives aren’t in control of anything that direct children’s minds. Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Berkeley, all controlled by Democrats. Same with local and state colleges.

If someone thinks conservatives are safe because of the growth rate, I think they are widely mistaken. Even Facebook, twitter, hollywood and sites like reddit all censor conservatives to push liberal agendas.
 
Like I said. Depends on the raising of kids and influence of parenting. Your involvement with them etc. I have 5. 4 boys and a girl. Ages 33 to 21. Probably the most conservative kids you will ever meet. one is gay and a uber conservative. Now when I say conservative I mean probably more libertarian. My definition for That is less government. No handouts for ever. Work for what you get. Keep what you earn. And local Governments dictate policy. Some of there views would be considered liberal. But I think that’s a good balance. I have for the most part moderate views. Not a hard right or left. But more incline to common sense rule. Not crazy no cows or planes type craziness. Protect our boarders. Help people when they need it. Don’t make it forever. And keep common law not bullshit. My children ask the same questions I think we all do of our elected officials. “Who fucking votes these people in?” 😂. And for 30 plus years with no change to the status quo. Dems have had majority of both houses, as well as republicans Yet nothing seems to change…

Cambridge study is a interesting hypothesis. I’d have to read a lot of the sources and input before I could really judge it’s content. I requested the paper. Not sure how long that takes.
 
I wouldnt call them writers or reporters honestly lol. But there’s plenty others out there. Recently there was something about how sending your children to college now, was a mistake for Conservatives as they have gone completely left field.

Personally home schooling children now before college is the best way for parents to teach children but not everyone’s in the position to do that.

Until conservatives start creating more social networks and media outlets it will always be an issue. But conservatives that try all do it with the “free speech” concept that never works and turns the sites into a cesspool. Google supports liberals and against conservatives. Yet most conservatives will still use it.

Netflix has starting making “documentaries” and shows that push liberal agendas and how conservatives are bad. Yet conservatives still throw money at them every month. Hell now Obama even works with them.

I just started using Plex which is a free home media server that turns your content like Netflix with news and webshows and podcasts. Every fucking thing on their they show under those categories is shit against Trump right now. You can turn it off but can’t edit the sources and control what news channels are on there.

Love seeing that the majority of us are conservative. I have no qualms with liberals persay unless they are directly attacking my beliefs and claiming that my stance is “wrong” and theirs is “right.” I prefer to give others grace and try to understand where they’re coming from. We are all brothers and sisters.
 
I’m a glass half full guy. I remember when the downfall of the country was with hippies. No one working. All just shooting heroin. And making babies. But it didn’t turn out that way. Offspring from the hippies were conservatives. And the cycle goes back to the hippies. I guess we will see in 20 years. By then I won’t give a fuck anyways. Watching jeopardy playing bingo and eating pudding. 😂
