Zactlly my thoughts you’re in range clinically for lh n fsh…… your t is waay low for a man your age.

You should be able to get a script with those numbers.

From what I’ve seen symptoms can be pretty much anything, but yes.

Over the last year:
  • Rapid hair loss
  • I’ve always had issues keeping weight off but its been noticeably harded
  • The general not wanting to do the things that I 100% have to do.
  • sex drive is down like 80%
I’ve also never been able to grow much facial hair, and I have very little body hair.

I’m not sure if this issue is recent (last year) or if its always been a problem but I never considered it.

I’ve never put much thought into the symptoms, I just assumed that it was from getting older, or that I was just being lazy.

For anyone following along

I was referred to an endo who has been getting me every test possible.

Repeated tests are showing:
  1. Test 150ng ± (very low)
  2. Prolactin 23ng (rather high)
  3. Normal pretty much everything else
Endo has some pretty bad theories and is trying to get me a brain scan, but it’ll be awhile before that happens. So in the mean time I’m being prescribed caber 0.25 mg 2x week.

Curious if anyone has encountered similar results

Caber is treating a symptom. Your high prolactin is driving your test down. You need to get to the bottom of why that’s so elevated.

.25 twice a week will drop it quick. I would ask for repeat labs after two weeks. Caber is a strong drug, which means strong side effects.

Lower your Prolactin should drastically help your libido issues.
I would recommend the following after you confirm a causal link between the two via the Caber:

800iu of Vitamin E daily
200mg of Vitamin P-5-P daily
Reduced my prolactin 50% after 8 weeks w/o the use of Prami or Caber.

Also some doctors don’t think to treat high prolactin until its well north of your current number btw.
Be wary of doctors who are a solution chasing a problem.
