Mood swings during diet

Well I have been bragging about feeling so good and joyful…I’ve been eating 30 grs of carbs for the past 9 days, 40 mins cardio every day, lifting every day. I have never been a quick tempered person but I have seen very close to me what steroids can do; to be honest I have never felt angry or mad neither a bad attitude with the use of the gear… today am watching my self, probably cause I didn’t really sleep last night but I feel right now very irritable…am staying as quiet as I can. Does the low carb diet affects your mood?
 
You bet. That is why a high quality B complex is important. Read the science and you will understand the need when shifting to low carb. Adrenal support is beneficial as well. As my body adjusts to the shift from carbs my mood stabilizes. To suppress the carb cravings I include l-glutamine.

All the things above midigate the new stress being caused in the body.

Fuck yeah it will. Carbs are what keep me sane lmao. That’s why the last few weeks of cutting suck ass. Idk how people do Keto (except end of a drastic cut where it’s almost forced although I still had over 100g carbs at end of my cut). Even if you gave me 3500 cals and none where carbs I’d hate it haha. Some people love it tho. To each their own. But to answer your question again. 100% yes.
 
Once the transition into keto is complete and the body becomes adapted I feel CAPITAL! I have no idea how someone can live healthy and happy on a high carb diet. To each their own. 😉

I could eat breakfast for every meal 😂 if only ihop pancakes were chuck full of protein 😂😂 the Lidia cakes are def good but nothing compares to regular carb filled cakes.

Hahaha yeah I have. I was so confused because I was like “I just talked about these in my last response” and then I went back up and looked and saw I got autocorrected to “Lidia Cakes” Instesd of “Kodak Cakes” lmao. But yeah bro. They’re awesome. I make these bomb muffins out of them too.

  • 1.5 cup kodiak
  • 1 cup carbmaster milk (could use Fairchild but one with low carb/fat and high protein)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1.5 mashed bananas
  • 6 tsp truvia brown sugar blend
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 3 tbsp mini chic chips
  • 2 tbsp naturally creamy pb (spread on after baked)
I use a 6 muffin bake pan and spray it canola oil. Preheat oven to 350. Combine dry ingredients in bowl, then ass wet. Put into trays and bake at 350 for 24 minutes. Pop out after baked and cut in half and spread on pb.

I’d eat all 6 in my bulk haha and it was 1446 cals (39F, 199C, 97P). Packed with protein.

Also to note: these taste fucking amazing. Better than any bakery muffin I ever had. Even my family agreed and they don’t usually like “protein” foods. They’re so moist too.
