It has a separate “cube” that you fill with distilled water and it cools/heats based on what you want. Also great to crank it up as a heating pad for sore muscles. It’s connected to the pad with a pretty long tube, so you have flexibility where you place the cube. It’s about 12”x12”x12” or so. Comes with a wireless remote so can adjust temperatures without getting out of bed.
