What’s up, I’m 31 male, programmer. I’ve always had a curiosity around performance enhancing drugs, and TRT. But never took any of it seriously, as I wasn’t fully committed to working out, and would be counter productive.

When I was in my teens I was very physically active, rock climbing, hiking, biking. Then I got a cooshy office job for many years, and my diet/excersize has not been a big objective outside of not getting fat. I’m now seeking a change in my life.

What started my change was when I bought my first house, it hasn’t even been a year, I got myself a second dog, another malinous, who has been the most energetic puppy I’ve ever seen. Followed by a lot of yard work and fence building on a half acre lot, started building my perspective that physical activity isn’t the problem, my problem has been boredom of regular workout routines. So I joined an MMA gym, and it’s been the best thing to happen for me.

Now I’m here, taking more interested in bulking up, and doing it right. I’m not in any competitions, or any interest in competing. My motivations are all to look and feel good for the sex appeal, confidence in defending myself, and a bit of a personal ego against my millennial generation being full of wimps.

I know that something like TRT or stacking probably isn’t the right time at this moment. I want to get my body fat a bit lower before starting and have adjusted my diet accordingly. But from there I’m not sure on what else I should be looking at.

As time goes on I’m sure I’ll have more focused questions to ask. But for now, hello! And I’m greatful a forum like this exists.

Welcome.

Have you had blood labs recently. If you haven’t done so yet, Look in ugms blood work section and you can get a feel for what is a good starting point for everything.

Search first cycle etc. also.

Yeah I am. The time, money, and motivation has come together for me, and I have that race horse mindset where when I see a clear path I’m running hard. But obviously want to be smart about it, my body is on the line lol.

Welcome. Glad to hear the positive changes you’ve made in your life. Do plenty of research before you jump in. As others have suggested, getting bloodwork is your first step to see your baseline values and make sure you’re healthy enough before jumping in
